Today was my Aunt’s birthday, went out together to celebrate. Ate really really good food! Sorry, too good, couldn’t even wait to take pictures. Haha. Then we went Starbucks, had some drinks. Shot a couple of photos.

Currently experiencing Stages 1 and 2 simultaneously. Why?

SanDisk is so uncool.

SanDisk is so uncool.

That’s why.

I just bought an 8 Gb microSD card, with reader and all that, and they come around announcing a 16 Gb one.

Here i am, back in SJI again. Makes me kinda nostalgic. Went back to school to find my form tutors, who have been greatly supportive of me during my O levels. Talked to them today, great talk. Talked about how i was fairing, my family and life in general. Really really great teachers!

Gave them their long overdue presents from teacher’s day.

Gifts!

Just took a bath. Saw my spectacles wet, felt like taking pictures, so yeah.

Classy huh?

Classy huh?

Made use of my new close range +4 filter.

Really challenging to take as i couldn't make out the pictures, everything was blur without my spectacles.

Darkness Falls.

Something random i wrote at work. Enjoy…or not.

As he walked away, i began to realise that life in a cubicle was perhaps not the kind of job that i was actually looking for. Sure, it was a stable, well paying, 9 to 5 job. But now i realised how foolish i was to realise that money and stability would actually make me happy. I needed something in my life, I needed fresh air, to feel the adrenaline coursing through me, to do something spectuacular, that made a difference. I didn’t want to be one of the many sheep that flocked around the world, quietly, silently conforming to the dreges of society, living with a life that was not truely a miserable. I needed to get out, and live my life.

Heroes Season 3 just started yesterday with a bang. Many questions left over from the previous season, unanswered, are answered. However, it just simply complicates things.

Yeah. It's Back. Bigger, Better, Badder.

Synopsis after the break.

Do visit his blog! He recently got hands on a Canon 5D MKII, and he shot an amazing HD video without any experience. I can’t post any of his pictures here due to copyright infringement, so you gotta just trust me and check out his video! The colour vibrancy is fantastic. Great photographer!

Went down to MS Colour at AMK today to get a close up +4 lens filter. Hopefully with this i’ll be able to shoot pictures with a shallower depth of field…considering i don’t have a macro lens, only a kit lens.

Bumped into Linus at AMK hub while on my way to MS Colour, who apparently described me as a loser, who i can only sadly agree with.

I got sidetracked on the way to MS colour, pausing to take a couple pics of the fountain. Didn’t turn out nice. Only gonna post the single decent photo i got, which could have been as easily emulated with a P&S.

Fountain! Lazy to check EXIF for exposure settings.

Sony TT

Hmm, Sony just announced the TT officially.

Well, no, not that TT. This one :

Nice huh? According to the article from Gizmodo and Engadget, it’s gonna weigh in at about 1.3Kg, with options for Blu-Ray, dual SSDs and a HD screen. I currently own a TX, and it’s going fine…but i wouldn’t really mind an upgrade. The battery life on my TX and the weight is seriously stunning. The screen is pretty ok for work, but not in the long run. Gaming is a no go on the TX, but i’m looking for a laptop for work.

In my opinion, it’s a bit pricey, at 2000 USD for the base model, but if my TX has taught me anything, it’s way more practical for usage than my Macbook. So yeah. I want this TT! But probably won’t get one…not enough cash. Saving up for lenses. Well, you can’t have everything in life. Made me excited though…

Fooling around with ice today, i made use of my “O” Level Certificate folder to make a background color of dark blue. Then, setting my WB to white florescent to achieve a blue saturated effect, i fired my flash, ATTL, 1/32. EFS 18/55mm, F5.6, 1/13.

First shot:

2nd Shot:
Ice2

Got a couple other, not gonna upload though…
